" I had the pleasure of visiting the Paduanelli's olive grove (recommended by acquaintances) and managed to buy their extra virgin olive oil which was previously exclusive to the inside community and I'm glad they now made it commercial as their olive oil is so pure and yummy and taste so good raw just with bread or even on fresh salad! I absolutely love to cook and the oil does give a good flavour to all cooking! Very very tasty and absolutely recommended! Oh, and they will soon be selling home made conserves, jams, pickles which I had a chance to taste too, and they really taste good WITH and inside a bread!"

" I have now changed career but 35 years ago I was second chef to the [previously] Head Chef at the Savoy, London in an exclusive country club just outside London. Italy is considered to be the producer of the highest quality extra virgin olive oil in the world. Puglia is the breadbasket of Italy and renowned within the country for the quality of its olive oil. The extra virgin olive oil from the Paduanelli estate in Puglia is in my opinion the finest of the many I have tried from that country. A fine extra virgin olive oil can transform the most ordinary ingredients into a sublime culinary experience. Paduanellis olive oil is grassy, fruity and green. There is also a hint of pepper but the acidity is low so it stays on the front of the palate. That is quite typical of highest quality Italian olive oils and is a good sign the oil is aging well. I tasted toasted almond when I sipped the oil, that was not greasy, and an immediate soft taste in the back of my throat when I swallowed, leaving a very, very slight aftertaste. Good. I also picked up a slight sweetness. Overall, it was an oil with character and medium robustness that wasn't overpowering."
